A mixed ability group of students aged 10 were encouraged to develop their own ideas to produce a final piece of maths related work. Imaging Partnership aims to encourage positive behaviour and involvement within the workshops to achieve a higher standard of work, while also giving pupils one-on-one assistance where needed encouraging asking for help when it is required.

The interactive and practical sessions covered patterns, planning and photographing a dance sequence, shapes, using photography to identify shapes in nature, handling data, creating a storyboard by collating visual data in a sequential way, calculating, producing a photographic weather forecast and calculating the possibility of sunshine and rain, measuring, and as a group, creating a photographic collage by using different shapes and fitting them together.
