The importance of Creativity and Innovation cannot be overestimated. According to a study by IBM, Creativity is the single most important attribute that CEOs think is paramount for future business success.

Without new ideas, new products, and new processes, companies are left behind by their competition.

There are four basic steps in solving a problem:

  1. Defining the problem
  2. Generating alternatives – CREATIVITY
  3. Evaluating and selecting alternatives – DECISION MAKING
  4. Implementing solutions – PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Using complete Problem Solving activities, our Innovation Institute teaches Problem Solving through Creativity,Decision Making and Project Management. problem-solving

The Institute revolves around four key areas and the idea is to take a Challenge Theme and apply it to a particular Age Group, together with a Relevant and Progressive Context, within a chosen Contextual Challenge.

As an example, we might take a Renewable Energy Theme, for Key Stage 3 pupils, within a Community Context, with the aim of securing a Sustainable Future.
